Active Learning: Practical Implementation from the TA Perspective

In this workshop, participants will learn new approaches to engage students in learning-centered pedagogy, share strategies to effectively implement learner-centered pedagogy, and learn how to address challenges with implementing learner-centered teaching. Graduate student peers will facilitate the session by sharing their own examples across disciplines and facilitate discussions among participants about what works in their own teaching and ways to address challenges in the classroom. Lunch provided.
