Developing Leadership Skills

Lauren Celano, founder and CEO of Propel Careers will give an overview of characteristics that leaders generally have along with perspective for why leadership skills are important for professional and personal development. This webinar then provides insights for how to build and cultivate these skills during a Ph.D. or postdoctoral program. Tangible examples will be provided to showcase ways to build these skills during research activities as well as during non-research activities such as involvement with departmental initiatives, student clubs, industry organizations, and non-profit organizations.
