Training and Tips for a Successful Teaching Career

Dr. Dee Silverthorn is a Professor of Physiology in the Department of Medical Education at Dell Medical School, University of Texas Austin. Her seminar will provide tips on developing teaching skills in the life sciences and practical advice on pursuing a teaching career. Dr. Silverthorn is past president of the Human Anatomy and Physiology Society, has served as editor-in-chief of Advances in Physiology Education, and is current chair of the American Physiological Society Book Committee.
