Are you teaching a course for the first time as an instructor of record? Have you taught before and want to revise or refresh the content? This workshop will use Backward Course Design to assist instructors on developing a syllabus, model lesson planning, creating learning objectives, ideas for student-centered engagement, and how to evaluate students’ learning outcomes. Bring your own course materials for discussion, revising, and sharing. Individual students or small groups of students working on the same course are welcome to attend. This workshop counts towards CIRTL at UNC Chapel Hill Associate’s levels of achievement. This is offered via Zoom, participants are expected to attend both sessions.
