Energizing the Classroom: Integrating Active Learning

Education research has definitively shown that the benefits of active learning in the undergraduate classroom far surpass traditional lecturing.  Participants will learn a range of ways to engage students in the learning process, address higher order thinking, and develop ways to integrate active learning into their own teaching situations regardless of discipline or course. Lunch provided.
