Teaching Statement Workshop

Don’t know where to start with writing a teaching statement/philosophy? Dr.Vanessa Doriott Anderson, Director of Teaching and Communications Programs
at NC State, will be leading a workshop on writing teaching statements to help
you prepare for the academic job market! Join your peers as we learn the basics
of a teaching philosophy—including how to express your values, experience, and
future ideas. This workshop will also include time to develop your ideas with
peers and get feedback on your teaching philosophy. You are encouraged to
bring along your most recently updated teaching statements/philosophy or any
